Getting started

Whipmash is an AI-powered vehicle mashing game. You collect base vehicles, mash them with AI to produce unique mashups, and animate them into shareable videos.

Quick start (3 steps)

• Step 1 — Add vehicles: Go to the Garage and click + Add on at least 2 vehicles you like. They land in My Garage.
• Step 2 — Mash: From My Garage, click a vehicle, then click ↺ Mash. Pick a second vehicle and hit Generate to have the AI mash them together.
• Step 3 — Share: Generate a cinematic scene and share it to the feed.

Garage

The Garage is the catalogue of all base vehicles available in the game. You can search by name or type.

Once you add a vehicle to My Garage, its card shows ✓ Owned and cannot be added again.

My Garage

My Garage holds every vehicle you own — base library vehicles and AI-generated mashups alike.

Vehicle detail page

Clicking any vehicle opens its detail page where you can:

• Rename a mashup (click ✎ Rename).
• Generate a scene — a cinematic AI background featuring your vehicle in a chosen environment.
• Generate a video — animate the scene into a short clip (requires a scene first).
• Generate a morphing video — an 8-second video showing your vehicle morphing into one of its predecessors. You can then capture a frame from the morph video to save as a new mashup.
• Mash — start a new mash run using this vehicle as parent A.
• Share — post the scene or mashup image to the community feed.
• Remove — permanently remove the vehicle from your garage.

Lineage

Mashups show their complete lineage tree, so you can trace exactly which base vehicles were combined to create them across all generations.

Mashing

Mashing combines two of your vehicles using AI to generate a new mashup.

How it works

• Go to Mash and select two vehicles from your garage.
• Click Generate. The AI creates a mashup image.
• You can Keep it or Discard it and generate again (both are free).
• Kept vehicles appear in your garage immediately.

Sharing & the Feed

The Home feed shows posts from the entire community — images and videos of their mashups.

How to post

• Open a vehicle's detail page and generate a scene or video.
• Click the ↗ Share button to post to the community feed.
• Your creation appears in the feed immediately.

Likes & engagement

You can like any post by clicking ♥. You can delete your own posts at any time.

Tokens

Tokens are the in-game currency used for generating content. They're spent on scene generation, video generation, morphing videos, and capturing frames from morphing videos.

Daily allowance

Every account gets free tokens per day that reset every 24 hours. Check your remaining tokens on the Profile page.

Purchasing tokens

Additional tokens can be purchased from the Tokens page. Purchased tokens do not expire.

Tips & common questions

Why do some mashups look terrible?

AI image generation is probabilistic. Roughly 70% of results won't be what you hoped for. Because you can discard for free, the strategy is to keep mashing until you get something great.

Can I mash a mashup with another mashup?

Yes. Any two vehicles in your garage can be mashed together, including mashups. Multi-generation mashups often produce the most unusual results.

How do I get more vehicles in the garage?

The admin team adds new base vehicles to the garage regularly. Keep an eye on the community feed for announcements.
